Emergency Food Relief
Our History
The Emergency Food Relief Program was created after witnessing the challenges many families face during periods of food scarcity.
During community visits and outreach activities, we encountered households where parents struggled to provide meals for their children and elderly caregivers who had no reliable source of food.
These experiences highlighted the urgent need for a structured response to hunger within the communities we serve.
Since then, Nsiima Foundation Uganda has organized food relief efforts to support families during difficult times, working closely with community leaders to ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most.
Each distribution effort brings relief and hope to families who are navigating challenging circumstances.

People and culture
Communities across Uganda are built on strong values of sharing, resilience, and care for one another. Even during difficult times, neighbors often support each other as much as they can.
However, when entire communities experience food shortages, many families find themselves without enough resources to provide daily meals.
Our Emergency Food Relief Program works alongside community members to provide immediate support while respecting local culture and dignity.
Food assistance is distributed with transparency and care, ensuring that families feel supported and valued.
By standing together with communities during times of hardship, we help restore hope and strengthen the bonds that hold communities together.
Help Fight Hunger
Your support helps provide life-saving food assistance to families facing hunger.
Together, we can ensure that vulnerable households have access to the nourishment they need to survive and rebuild their lives.
Every contribution helps us reach more families and communities across Uganda.
